If y'all are right and beef will be double and chicken 25% more no way Baton Rouge supports that kind of place. Only so many people in BR with such levels of disposable income

Double the price of what places currently?

Beef prices/quality around Baton Rouge are all over the place.

Does it really take that much disposable income to pay 25% more for chicken, which is already pretty cheap as a whole?

Are these people going to actually raise the volume of animals needed for this to work?

Well if its true what you said originally, they wont need many animals because they will be out of business sooner than later

Look I never even heard about this place inversteins until just reading this thread. I'm just going by what other people said in this thread about what their prices will be. But most people in BR are not like y'all and willing to pay a premium everyday for beef and chicken. I don't give a frick if this place ever opens or lasts forever I'm just giving an opinion from a "common" person which is what makes up most of BR in "everyday" food purchases. All I'm saying is this place better sell cracklins / boudin balls and cheap stuffed chickens if it's going to make it. But then what do I know about overpriced food. In my opinion Target's chickens are overpriced. LOL
