She doesn't have any kids and her cost of living is very low, but that is damn good still. I know another black female that is my age that has about 30k or so in liquid assets. She has no debt and just finished her MBA.
What woman is good with money?
I've yet to meet her.

Well, Apple didn't IPO until until 1980, so it's very likely that between 1976-1980 that his shares would have been diluted.

I married a jewish one. She and her money are not easily separated, thankfully.

Also, judging by the general trashiness of the OT, I'd say most here dont know what a financial blunder is.
I had a client come in once with one of those personal loans from some Indian Reservation out west. She basically got a check in the mail for 5k, which she cashed. The fine print said the interest rate was 118%. She would have paid back about 50K to the lender if she'd paid it to term. I see crap like this all the time.

Girl was dating a guy for a little while then one morning as he is leaving for a meeting his brief case pops open and a load of cash falls out. She asked him what it was for and he said a business deal that was a sure thing. She then begged him to let her into the deal and of course he did. He took all her money and caught an Oceanic flight to Australia. She got knocked up from the rendezvous and is now broke.
