I know exactly what it means, but apparently you don't, so I'll simplify it for you.
What do you consider to be the best overall restaurant in Baton Rouge? In my opinion, it's Maison Lacour. Now -- take Maison Lacour, and compare it to the best of New Orleans, and on a broader scale, the best of the entire state of Louisiana. Is it still the best? Not even close.
I rest my case.
