thought the same thing when I moved to Denver. Didn't think I would ever go anywhere else. Then my wife and I found Landmark in Greenwood Village. Same atmosphere except for $12 a ticket you get all you can eat self serve drinks and popcorn. At no point do you even have to deal with an employee. Food is free and tickets are purchased on a touch screen kiosk.
The catch is that they don't play all mainstream movies and only have about 6 theaters. Keeps kids away and the place nice. But it's legit
