re: "9mm vs 40 sw" The great handgun debate

I have a dozen 9,s and carry a 40 for work daily. I can shoot truck nuts at 50 yds with a 9 but not with a 40. I cant shoot a 40 worth a frick. That being said Im a police firearms instructor with 20 plus years experience. A master revolver champion and an armorer for Glock, Colt, Smith & Wesson, Remington and Beretta. The 9/40 debate boils down to Glock trigger pull and striker fired accuracy problems. Ballistically better than a 9 but only worth the moderate results if out of a quality firearm and not some polymer piece of shite.
Personally Id go with a 9 over a 40 but 45 acp is good also. However in a sig the 40 is manageable.
