Resisting arrest doesn't warrant a death sentence.

The dude already showed murderous intent when he was driving 70 mph at a road block. I think we got a little past resisting arrest. He also kept making statements of your going to have to kill me. The dude was running around outside his truck like a lunatic. I'm ok with this shooting and think the police did a damn good job not killing anyone else.

If you pay attention and watch the video, the roadblock was around a curve. I don't know if you've driven in snowy conditions but he didn't have much of a chance to stop and at that moment he was looking for a phone or something and as he rounded the curve he was caught off-guard and yelled hold on

Any time police have guns drawn on you and you deliberately disobey their orders and flee, you have put yourself in a very dangerous situation. And this guy is absolutely at fault for putting himself in that situation. The cops don't know if these guys are going to open fire or not and I think were well within reason to be concerned about that.

BUT...to say that he had "murderous intent when he was driving 70mph at a roadblock" is idiotic. The roadblock was unexpected. He wasn't deliberately driving into a roadblock with intent to kill. Hence he turned off to the left to avoid plowing into the roadblock.

There are plenty of legitimate points to make in this thread in defense of the authorities rather than resorting to hyperbole and falsehoods.
