I think someone needs to talk to them about over exposure. I admire their success and the values they promote, but I am getting a little tired of seeing them. I watched the show when it first started but now it's just stupid.

They seem to be pretty successful at what they do but I don't live in that part of the state nor have I ever seen their show so I don't know a whole lot about them.

What's not to like? They live the life that hunters/fisherman dream of. Phil can be a little over the top but you can't fault a man for sticking to what he believes. I don't follow their show or own any DD gear fwiw.

The perception is that the rest of the country thinks all of Louisiana citizens looks, lives and acts like Mountain Man.

I just wish they'd make the Cutdown Reacher again.

They seem to be more liked in central and north Louisiana than south Louisiana

adopted that hillbilly shtick to sell shite
now getting $300K+ from the state per episode
whilst spouting the tea party mantras

Their values and business success are highly respected among those I associate with. Their act on the show is seen as just that, an act.

Well like moat polarizing figures how they are perceived is dependant on whom you ask.
To some they are dumb inbred people that make the state look dumb. Yet, to others they are smart, business savvy family men that are lauded for their beliefs and their commitment to stay true to them.

Everyone is jealous of them and wishes they had their life.
