I see Saul as being the "morally flexible" middle ground between Jimmy and Slippin' Jimmy. He became Saul when he was talking to the police, but it was Slippin' Jimmy that wanted the video made, and scammed Ken into picking up the bar tab. Like his boss playing guitar, Slippin' Jimmy is how he blows off steam.

I agree with this. We saw a lot of this when Jimmy went home, as Slippin' Jimmy and Marco went on their scampage. Jimmy even told Marco, "I appreciate your hospitality but a week's gonna' have to do it"
