All true but except for Denmark those are flat tax rates on income and the averages are the same from like $60k per year and above. In the U.S. once you figure in all Fed, state, local, SS and sales tax we are right at 39.6% average per individual according to LINK , go ahead and wind up with all your "Socialist" and "Communist" snowballs but I for one have no problem paying another 10% on a regular basis and know I will never have to worry about a kids college savings, medical emergencies or even elderly care for your parents or yourself when the time comes. Plus those numbers do not include how much you currently pay for health insurance which is right back in your pocket in this situation. If believing strongly in "United we stand and divided we fall" makes me a socialist then so be it!
