Great job Butt, it is appreciated.

LSU did a good job contesting jumpers from the guards, but did a terrible job keeping everyone out of the lane.

It's been too consistent a problem. The Kentucky game is the only game we really did it consistently well, which showed me we can do it...just need to come out focused with the resolve to do it for 40 minutes.

Tim Quarterman: Literally, what can I say about him that hasn't already been said? It's getting old and frankly, quite tiring.

I'm convinced it's an Alpha thing and even though Ben has conceded playmaker status to him for the most part it still drives Q and is IMHO the centerpiece to his inconsistent play. Like you, I don't know what to say and I fear it's past the point of resolution other than CJJ benching him, which is a risky proposition for a coach whose team is in the situation his is.

People give CJJ a lot of hate, some of it deserved, but no one can deny LSU normally bounces back well after a loss. I think tomorrow there will be 2 very hungry teams battling it out,

Agree on all points. I'm sure A&M is desperate after their recent swoon and we'll see max effort. But with Blakeney coming around so well this is a game we should and must take at home.

81-77 Tigers!!

Absolutely. It puts Jones in a no-win situation. TQ is one of our most athletic players, but he also gets in our way. Problem is, we have Gray as a backup...he always gives 100% effort, but you don't know what you will get with him because of his decision-making. Tim is just very frustrating because we could be so great if he bought in.
