re: Is there a more sterile, generic, non-threatening band than Foo Fighters?

I like about a half dozen Foo Fighters songs, about on par with most bands. Groups like the Foo Fighters have a hard time maintaining an appeal with me after more than a couple albums because all songs start to sound alike. I imagine it's difficult to maintain creativity after a while.
