I'm sorry man, but this just isn't true.

I am in the Air Force and I have only been stationed at Joint Bases with the Army and the housing is much better on the Air Force side.

That is anywhere you go, really.

But do not live on base, ever. If you can move off base and get your own place that is the way to go.

It is true and I live right outside one of the biggest joint bases in the country. When I was stationed in HI the Army had even better housing than the AF (might have changed by now). Housing in Germany was the same, so AZ. Korea was shite but I was in area 1.
Here is modern Army housing. It's just as nice as the AF.




You can still find some shitty old housing but that's true in the AF as well. I worked om Maxwell AFB a few years back and the enlisted housing was ghetto as hell.
