I prefer older movies. 95% of the ones they make today are either duplicate ideas or remakes. For this reason alone, I think blueray is more than sufficient for my collection.
The twice a year they make a new movie that is worth seeing, I will wait til it comes out on blueray/digital and buy it cheaper than it would cost for 2 to see it at the theater.
