It helps your system when your QB is a freak athlete who can wiggle out of trouble and make incredible plays when the system breaks down. Clemson's system wasn't what gave Bama problems. Deshaun Watson is what gave Bama problems. Dude was amazing... And they still lost.

This is true. I don't think it has as much to do with shotgun or under center as some think. We lost to Bama by 14 in Tuscaloosa with our struggling offense. If Clemson doesn't get the last garbage touchdown they lose by 12. While Harris is not Watson, I believe LSU has as much if not more overall talent than Clemson.
