"Held here against his will?" He signed a contract didn't he? I never saw this whole situation as an unhappy coach who's going around looking for offers. This has always been about other teams needing a coach and hearing that he's open to the possibility, never a negative one for Sean hating it here.

Again, if a team wants him they're gonna have to pay up. And if Payton wants to leave that badly, a couple draft picks aren't going to sway this big of a decision.

"Held against his will" may of been a poor choice of words on my part but the point still remains.

Do i hope we get compensation, yes. Do i think it will be a kings ransome, no.

Point is if he wants to bail when times are tough then let him go. That kind of appears like a quitter to me
