I also have SlingTV. I would NOT recommend sling for cutting the cord if you're wanting to watch sports with a family. For starters, you can only watch on one device at a time with a single account, which means another $20/mo if your kids wanted to watch at the same time or something. Second, the app is fricking horrible. Expect interruptions at the worst possible time.

Sling is great if it's just a couple people wanting to subscribe just for the sake of having some form of television, but I seriously doubt it works for this guy.
