No. Do you have a friend or family member that would let you use their login info? You go to the ESPN app and it will redirect you to a page where you select your cable TV provider. Then it takes you to the provider's website where you must login to that account. After you login it will let you use the Watch ESPN app.

I read some of that thread and got lost quick. I'm an old fellow who doesn't have a clue about all the terminology such as kodi, roku, etc.....

my friend just got roku and I thought that I could save money by getting it as well. my only concern was the sporting events. thanks
