Watching it on Netflix. Finished the first season a few months ago. Just now starting the second. Does it get better with the new doctor?

Yes. Tenant has been my favorite doctor so far.

Tenant was superb. Smith was meh. I thought Eccelston was better than Smith. Capaldi is fricking lights out.

Each Doctor is different. It's seriously like a new show with each one. Some will be good for you, others won't.
