I did as well - the movie, overall, is pretty cheesy - almost done in a "First 48" style. However, Grant comes across as extremely credible and the dramatization actors gave it the old college try. I also liked some of the interviews with Kurt's friends and the explanation that he was shy and quiet, but not depressed (which I never bought the whole depressed rock star retconning by Courtney after the fact).
The big takeaway from the film is the recorded phone calls - the ones from Courtney are chilling at times, but the ones from their entertainment lawyer (and Frances Bean's Godmother) make it clear that she thinks Courtney had something to do with Kurt's death.
I was actually on the fence before watching it - with regards to Courtney actively having him killed. But, now I believe there is at least a reasonable preponderance of evidence against Courtney. And the Seattle PD didn't do as good a job of investigating the death as Barney Fife would have.
