No you aren't. Get a $20 indoor antennae. You will also have watch ESPN access. Those two sources will cover you for all SEC and NFL games if the signal goes out.

I have Dish, not Direct, but I am so glad I switched. The technology is light years ahead. Its embarrassing that Cox is still trotting out the same shite I had when I first got a DVR. And I am getting the exact same channels for roughly $90 cheaper. So: better technology, significantly better price. It was a no brainer for me and my needs.

ETA: The satellite does look a little bad, but I was able to find a spot that hides it from the street and I never see it.
