Dinardo won initially and looked to have the program on the right track before things fell apart in 98. he started building "the fence" and left Saban a pretty talented bunch of kids. sure 98 and 99 were miserable for somewhat different reasons, but his overall tenure was a success IMO. now Curley on the other hand....
