I like your post, but I disagree.

LSU-Arkansas has been a great series. That Friday after Thanksgiving has always been interesting and filled with great games.

In 1993, LSU lost to Arkansas in a game that would have propelled LSU into a bowl game for the first time since 1988.
In 1995, LSU beat Arkansas 28-0 to clinch a bowl game for the first time since 1988.
In 1996, LSU beat Arkansas 17-7 in Little Rock to wrap up a 9-2 record.
In 1999, LSU beat Arkansas 35-10 to win only their third game of the year against a far superior Arkansas team.
In 2001, LSU beat Arkansas to keep their SEC Championship Game hopes alive.
In 2002, Miracle on Markham happened.
In 2003, LSU beat Arkansas 55-24 in a cold Tiger Stadium to win their second SEC West Championship in three years.
In 2005, LSU beat Arkansas 19-17 to wrap up a 10-1 season and advance to their third SEC Championship Game in five years.
In 2006, LSU beat Arkansas to clinch a Sugar Bowl berth in an awesome game at War Memorial Stadium.
In 2007, Triple OT happened.

Great series. Are they our true rival? No, but they are *one* of our rivals.
