Plenty of people have beaten me to the Rick Majerus bit, but I have to say, I'm glad Eddie never won a title; a miserable drunk and human being, that let other people cover his failings for decades, because he was a good basketball coach.

I don't think he's Top 5 guys in terms of coaching ability to not win a national title, but I can see the argument.

We're on the same page on how we feel about him.

But when he had his shite together, I can't deny he was a good coach. He's definitely one of those "what might've been" guys if he would've been able to lay off the bottle.
