Oh no doubt. I've never seen any coach who is as miserable, and as much of a count as Nick Saban is. Bill Belichick, and Bill Parcells are the only other two that come to mind.

Not sure what the point of riding the ride is if you're miserable all the time. Nick's pathetic attempt at a smile is painful to watch. We've all seen it. If all the success he's had over the years doesn't make him happy, then I'm not sure what will. Proof I suppose that success doesn't make you happy. You have to do that by yourself by deciding you're just going to be happy regardless.

He's probably not actually miserable, just continually dissatisfied. I think part of him enjoys being a prick to people.

Saban seems to see football as a serious of problems that need to be solved while doing his best not to notice or care about anything else. When the season ends, it's time to start thinking about the next series of problems. I think urban Meyer is the same way, but add in being an emotional basketcase.

Miles sees a great atmosphere, feels the excitement around him, and sees a bunch of college kids playing hard for him. He doesn't like to lose either, but if he does, he still sees all the nice things for what they are.
