With regards to McConathy, he was a good TE for West Monroe before he was switched to LB. I've always believed that he should have stuck it out there. But West Monroe always ran the ball and passed occasionally, so he made the switch to linebacker to receive more attention. And it worked, he was highly recruited and regarded as a high school lb. I could have envisioned him as a Gronkowski type TE though.
