I know this sounds strange, but talk to him, and record some of yalls conversation. My wife still listens to a few voice messages her dad left her just before he passed, and while they will hurt to listen to at first, it is always nice to have their voice around to hear every once in a while.

Thoughts and prayers for you and your family though. Luckily (and I know that sounds shitty now) you have time to prepare for it some.
