And so we've entered the point in the season where the front-runner gets picked apart by all of the contrarians in the media for any reason they can create. It becomes boring to praise the same guy over and over. Christ, the dude put up 180 yards and 2 TDs against a top defense this past weekend and some folks have the gall to knock his performance.
Sports media has to fill lots of airtime. Unfortunately that means spewing incessant bullshite and creating argument upon argument for and against individual athletes, teams, and leagues.
He could have a + 200 yd, 3 TD game in a win versus Bama, and you'd still have assholes suggesting someone else is better or more deserving. It's just what it is.
O-line is too good? Give me a fricking break.
