The PI call was an example of a referee with the ability to safely throw a flag when in fact there was no interference. Just a receiver tripping over himself. This is why Ritter and co. do not belong in CFB.

On the "late hit," I don't think I've ever seen a flag thrown so fast. In other words, the ref already had it out & was determined to throw it, regardless. He's probly thinking it isn't going to effect the outcome, but Cuse scored a TD after that.
