You know a lot of people blame Roger Goodell for our decline. But we have had nothing but HORRIBLE fortune since 2009.
Horrible personnel decisions
Salary cap Hell
Historically bad drafts
Sean Payton turning into a rock star and forgetting how to coach
Benson family soap opera
Two of the most painfully historic playoff losses in all of NFL history
Brees' slow decline from Pro Bowl QB to television personality/entrepeneur
And you know what? As a fan, one and only one Lombardi Trophy will ALWAYS be worth it.
