At that speed he was coming, there is no logical way for him to pull up. I think if he wraps him up and doesn't just shoulder him, no call would have been made.
This guy was not in the pocket and very capable of pulling it down and running for 70 yds (as we witnessed). I think it was a terrible call and should not be made when a qb is out of the pocket and running with the ball.
Plus, there was NO helmet to helmet or other contact to the head of the qb.
I have no clue on an appeal process, but it is unfair yet Miles will not appeal because there is no reason to piss off the league at this point for a benching that wont affect us in the long run.

I thought for sure they were finally going to call a hold (or two) on that one...
It was almost comical to see LSU D-lineman running after the QB with O-linemen riding on their backs during the "good" Auburn plays.
