On defense? We have tons of those in the secondary, baw. Tre White, Dwayne Thomas and Jamal Adams.

Arden Key and Donte Jackson have been hyped and I agree with you they're not proven, yet.

Beckwith is one of the best linebackers in the country that nobody outside of the SEC has heard of. Adams is arguably the best safety in the conference - certainly top 3. In my opinion, D. Thomas was our best defensive player at the time of his injury last year.

If the DL is just above average and the linebacker play looks more like the back half of last season than the first half, we should be a top 3 or 4 defense in the SEC.

Which is good enough to take us to the Final 4 with a few breaks here and there and if the offense lives up to the hype. (Great OL, best RB corps in the country and, *ahem*, a potentially explosive passing attack.)

ETA: Forgot to give kudos to Godchaux and Lacatoure - a great tandem that looks to be getting better and better.
