well, when idiots realize that there's someone pointing a gun at them, maybe they should start listening and realizing that the slightest thing they may do that deviates from what the guy with the gun says, may result in them being shot.

Until police officers start educating high school kids more on what to do and what not to do when approached by officers, things like this will continue to happen.

Hold on there, U.S. soldiers deal with stricter ROE's on a daily basis. The different is that the soldier will spend the rest of his life in prison if he makes the wrong choice.

I'm not going to read all the comments but have the OT cops shown up in full force blaming the victims?

I'm assuming that they believe the government should execute people for acting nervous/confused and moving their hands or having a hat. I mean, I've seen magicians pull a lot of shite out of hats so you never know if there's guns in there.

This is the thing that's striking- we had people out on patrol in area's rife with terrorists, marked by roadside bombs etc. and they manage to not point their guns at people until they actually plan on using them for the most part but its somehow a natural and accepted practice for cops-- who in general are far better paid and in a far, far less dangerous environment to essential use their sidearms as pointers for emphasis-- wtf is that.
