There's no magic play. The key is to be unpredictable in whatever you do. And, we could be better at that.

Actually cfb is about execution. Coaches aren't allowed enough practice time to implement a bunch of new plays every week that's why you see teams like Auburn and Oregon run the same play 50 % of time. They just execute really well.
In cfb any play can be successful if you execute well.
Now there is a time and place for each play you execute and we could also do a better job of playing to our players' strenghts. IMO if we are gonna run a pro style offense we sshould stop recruiting qbs that don't have Any pro style qualities. We recruit qbs that have never called a play in the huddle. They've never read a defense while doing a 3,5, or 7 step drop. They've never had to go past their 2nd read. What makes our offense look bad is that the prostyle offense is n by far, the most complex offense. The qbs job in a prostyle offense is far more mental than a spread qbs job.

I agree with this completely on all levels of football. The key is to be able to run and execute the same play from multiple formations and personnel sets. LSU has the tendency to reveal their play by the formation and personnel. They need to break some of their tendencies and become less predictable with certain formations.
