I am not a rum aficionado by any means, but I do enjoy it on occasion.

If any of you travel near Lacassine I recommend calling Bayou Rum for a tour and tasting. It's handcrafted rum facility and they packaged it beautifully. Tour takes about 20 minutes then they let you sample. They have dark, spiced, white and a citrus.

I may be in the minority but I did not like the Bayou Spiced rum. It has an aftertaste that is extremely bitter to me. I stopped there and have not tried any others. That dark and stormy does sound good.
