You are a lawyer, it's your people who make ridiculous blanket laws like this. You are part of the problem.....lol
Naw really, prosecutors who can't see obvious things and choose to set examples rather than pursue true justice suck, and should not be in that position.

Politicians are just as guilty and not all of them are lawyers.
I could see a politician running a campaign on the promise that "they will protect our youth from predators!" and winning in a landslide.
