The driver's passenger gave a conflicting story, which initiated the search. Get your story right if you're going have $800k in drug money in your vehicle. But hey this is a cop bashing thread. Who cares about the drug dealers?

I don't give a flying frick what their story was, or whether they had a story at all. Civil asset forfeiture is a racket that would make Tony Soprano blush. Citizens should be able to travel with as much cash as they want, for any reason or no reason, and it should be nobody's damn business. If you want to bust them for drugs, bust them for drugs, if they're carrying any and you can find it. Cash is not a controlled substance-or shouldn't be.

Im sorry, but this is a piss poor country when you can detain and search someone because they dont want to tell you the truth.

This is probably criminal activity of some sort, but it really does make you hate the cops more. If someone is speeding and has a legal license, registration, inspection, etc...write them a ticket and get your donut eating arse back in the car!

Again, Im happy if this guy is a criminal, but I hate how cops have free reign to break a persons civil rights with made up bullshite and circus trained dogs that you can teach to "alert" when you want..

I get really torn on these stories
