Good start. I'll add:
1. DGAF
2. Listen to her actions, not her words
3. No pity on the past, no shame in the present, no fear of the future
4. Act now
5. Learn from or laugh about every situation
6. Most people are idiots, and that is okay, they mean well
7. A bourbon and smoke keep everything in perspective
