Stay at belvedere in hells kitchen. Nice place three blocks west of times square. Central park. Museum of natural history, grand central, Macy's, use the hop on hop off bus, Coney island, Chinatown, window shop on 5th avenue, toys r us in times square if you have kids, Brooklyn/ dumbo area ( fornino pizza ), get tickets now for a TV show taping, theatre district and see a play. Go see 9/11 memorial area and shop at century 21. Eat: try the roasted chestnuts on sidewalk stands, shake shack, 5 napkin, carmines, Patsy's, peanut butter and company, empanadas mama, Katz's deli, Russ and daughters, Rosa mexicano, Carnegie deli, gray papaya for hot dogs. Ride the ferry to take pictures of statue of liberty. Go see Yankee stadium if you into that. Wear comfortable shoes, because you will walk plenty
