Dig a hole and place the top of the pot at ground level. Take and oil up a metal rod and secure across the center of the container leaving the middle section clean. Take peanut butter and heavily coat the middle section of the rod.

They will try to walk the rod to get to the peanut butter, slip and fall into container. The cannot climb out and will succumb to severe over hydration.

Does this really work? Could you put a bunch of snakes in the jar instead of water? Or maybe burning embers?
