The runner and third base coach have to be aware how the infielders are positioned. Sometimes all four will come in in order to cut the runner down at the plate. Other times only the corner positions are in and the middle fielders remain back at normal depth. Too often an LSU runner will take off on a ball hit to second when the second baseman is in on the grass. Diminishes our odds of a successful outcome.

Please tell me that you don't really believe that Davis and the runner have no idea where the infield is playing?

I thought you were saying that the LSU runners and 3rd base coach weren't aware of where the infielders were positioned.
