Decent QB play 10-2, great QB play, undefeated.
It's pretty lazy and stupid for somebody to predict 8-5. I have yet to see Miles have consecutive bad years in QB play, so why now when we have the best WR corps we've had since 2006, the best RB corps since 2011, a real QB coach, and a stacked OL?
Our schedule sets up for at worse, going 7-1 to start off the season. IMO, we start 8-0, then we split the last four.

I guess it depends on your definition of bad. What are we talking here, less than 200 yards/game? Less than 20 passing TDs in a season? Less than 60% completions?
Here's the cumulative passing stats (all QBs in a season) over the past few years:
2008 - 53% completions, 21 TDs, 18 INTs, 201 yards/game
2009 - 59% completions, 19 TDs, 8 INTs, 181 yards/game
2010 - 58% completions, 10 TDs, 11 INTs, 156 yards/game
2011 - 62% completions, 21 TDs, 5 INTs, 153 yards/game
2012 - 58% completions, 12 TDs, 7 INTs, 200 yards/game
2013 - 65% completions, 23 TDs, 9 INTs, 251 yards/game
2014 - 50% completions, 17 TDs, 9 INTs, 163 yards/game
Other than 2013, I think you can make an argument that we had bad QB play every single year, or at the very least inconsistent QB play. Even years like 2011 that look okay statistically at a glance are misleading, because we all know how inept our passing game was when we faced stiff competition.
