You're right, a guy who was publicly affiliated with a murder that it is increasingly apparent he had no involvement in should definitely not call out the person and police department which fundamentally caused that affiliation because that would hurt his PR.

BRPD had zero responsibility to out him as someone they'd like to talk to, especially given that they do not nor have they considered him a suspect or person of interest. And Shefter calling Collins' affiliation/non-affiliation with the double murder "disturbing" during the draft, on the channel carrying the draft, in the room where the picks were announced was a bullshite, bush-league, clickbait report.

His character has been publicly defamed for over a week. Once he's finally completely dissociated with it, I'd want some sort of reckoning, no matter how small or trivial, for those parties directly responsible for my loss of millions in income.

Him calling them out looks bad to NFL teams. That's the irony in your statement. He can have his agent or friends bash them all he wants but personally coming out to bash a murder investigation is very poor judgment.
