All these other examples of minor vices are hardly the complete social outcast that smoking has become.

It is a shame. The public looks down on smokers as if they are methheads or rich white guys. No respect.
Smokers gave up their freedoms too early. If they had held out another decade they could have been "victims" and received special treatment like all of the fat people, non-hetero people, illegals, and poors that fill up this country.
