They sent a new email out saying that it can be fixed yourself with some router settings. I'm going to research before changing anything lest I make my whole network less secure, but I'll give you an update later on.
It's ridiculous that they put out a generic coupon code for $50 thinking that it wouldn't get out in the open. I think they're sending a code out for each email you have linked to the hub, though, so you could get multiple codes per household.

I changed my DNS settings like it said but it still will not update, stays solid yellow after unplugging

quote:You don't change security at all. Just modify the DNS addresses, reboot the hub and let it update. Once done, you set the DNS back to original values. It's not a permanent change.
