For example male lions are large and powerful to protect their pride. Male black widow spiders are small, and their main purpose is to breed with the female before death.

In today's society gender roles get a bad wrap, but it is actually very natural for the symbiotic relationship that males and females have. No, they aren't all relevant today, but there are certain things that most men and women are typically hard wired to be better at than the opposite sex.
