longtime RNs know that this comes up every now and again--- it's been going on for years-----ADN is a great start! Like I said before, the pendulum swings, just like the nursing shortage does---it's all cyclic.

Like Ive stated before I have a good job right now and it pays the bills. with a daughter and needing another income to help with some financial breathing room ADN is the best option as of right now.

She told me she would like to work for a pediatrician or a gynecologist due to her love for children which i believe she would need a BSN for??

why are the classes $4500 a semester? does that seem high especially for BRCC? Im trying to find the cheapest tuition cost due to the fact that I am not sure if the financial aid would cover the whole amount.

and I heard that Baton Rouge General offers a program as well... is that worth looking into?

Also does Obamacare screw everything up for the medical field?
