I've always wondered how stuff like this gets discovered. I mean, how many things and people did they go through before deciding garlic, onion, and part of a cows stomach helped with eye infections..
It doesn't make any sense. Its up there with those amazon tribes that take a normally deadly plant, put it through 10 different processes and it comes out edible and a delicacy that they've enjoyed for a thousand years.
