re: Miss State trending in CrystalBall for Malik Newman?

While we are talking about 18 year old kids, I think it would be a really bad move if he went to MSU. If he did, I don't think it would be because someone is paying him money. He must know that as a lottery pick he doesn't need an under the table $200K now and I don't think he's the type of kid who would take an illegal payment anyway. That leaves only family loyalty and legacy possibly swinging him to MSU. I just don't see that happening in this case unless he really doesn't care about his one year in college. That's possible but I think it is much more likely he'll want to go with a team he thinks will make a splash in the tourney and that leaves LSU, Kansas and possibly UK. Of those 3, I like LSU.
