This is the straw man that keeps getting brought up. Does anyone here actually believe this? I can decide my son doesn't get to play the latest GTA game and at the same time know that him playing it won't turn him into psychopath.

This. I don't believe a 15 year old would go beat up a cop, although the OT says that would be a good thing...

What if the kid quotes the game in school and gets in trouble? 15 is still young and often a little immature, depending on the kid, to understand where to draw the line with that type of stuff. Once again, the parent should do what they think it right.

It's not even that really. The overall tone of this game is dark. Take Trevor out of it and I say go nuts. He's just a character that no 15 year old really needs in his life. Hell, no 30 year old needs him for that matter.

That's the kind of stuff I would be worried about, and some 15 year olds are mature enough and some are not

All kids are impressionable, but some are just already influenced by the right people. Some will start repeating lines (and that's why I mentioned the word n$$$$r being used. Definitely don't want little Johnny repeating that

But then you have a lot of parents who are concerned their kid is going to go nuts. Anyone listen to spud McConnell?
