re: Are cash bars at weddings ever acceptable?

I went to a wedding where the family has 3 girls and 2 boys and the father has a job with the State of La. He had a cash only bar because he doesn't have the means to spend that kind of money on alcohol. They had great food, a good band and everyone had a good time, even if they paid for their drinks. You are not entitled to free alcohol at the expense of some guy barely making it and trying to take care of his family.
